While wedding favors may be one of the simplest parts of planning a wedding, they can also be the part which is often left until the last minute. If you want to stick with a favorite easy wedding favor then use candy; it's always a safe bet and it can be made to look attractive if nicely designed boxes or tins are used for storage. I like the idea that a number of receptions have started to use where the costly centerpiece is done away with completely. This method has been taken from an idea used by families at Christmas and uses a large glass bowl filled with different types of candy.

You can then provide each wedding guest with a small bag and a note encouraging them to enjoy the candy in the centerpiece. This could be called a self service gift because all you have to do is supply the candy and something to place it in.

An alternative to using candy is a picture frame which can double up as a place holder just for the occasion. Pictures frames are often used as wedding favors but people spend a great deal of time wrapping each one individually to create a beautiful presentation for the guests. If you use the frames to hold the place cards however, wrapping will not be necessary.

A different but still an easy wedding favor is to supply every guest with a picture of themselves arriving at the wedding reception using the services of a professional photographer armed with a digital camera. It is a simple matter of bringing a printer along so the images can be printed off during the reception and are ready when the guests start to leave. As everyone will be looking at their best this is a wedding favor they will really enjoy; seeing themselves this way in a professional photo. Many professional photographers have purchased small digital projectors so there is no reason why you couldn't request one at the reception and this way your guests could see the images that had been taken during the day.
